Sending unit pulled up to expose the electrical connector, the pressure line fitting and the return hose. Fuel pump assembly with 3214 tool installed to illustrate how to use this tool to twist the reservoir counter-clockwise 1/2 inch to remove the pump assembly from the tank mount. After the fuel pump with reservoir have been removed using the 3214 tool, this is the opening left in the tank pump holder assembly. The two notches on the white reservoir should be at the 10 o'clock position to the left of the fuel line at 12 o'clock Tie wraps were included to fasten the new pump wiring to the existing fuel line. New pump and reservoir have been installed after using 3214 tool to rotate the reservoir slightly to the left for installation into the fuel tank pump holder assembly. Note the two notches on the reservoir and the lines on the tank holder assembly. The reservoir is inserted into the tank pump holder with the two notches at the first line on the right, then it is rotated clockwise with the 3214 tool to line up the two notches with the 2nd line.
